Accessibility Statement for ZeroFare

Measures to support accessibility
CASTA takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of ZeroFare:
- Include accessibility as part of our mission statement.

Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. ZeroFare is fully conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Fully conformant means that the content fully conforms to the accessibility standard without any exceptions.

Compatibility with browsers and assistive technology
ZeroFare is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:
- Google Chrome with VoiceOver on Mac
- Firefox with VoiceOver on Mac
- Safari with VoiceOver on Mac
ZeroFare is not compatible with:
- Internet Explorer or browsers that are older than 3 major version are not supported.

Accessibility of ZeroFare relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your computer:

- JavaScript
These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.
Assessment approach
CASTA assessed the accessibility of ZeroFare by the following approaches:
- Self-evaluation
- During the development process we test using VoiceOver and utilize tools such as WAVE and Lighthouse to identify and correct issues.
